Troubleshooting your DSL connection

With DSL, high-speed Internet access will be yours at the completion of your computer's start up. A properly configured computer and modem will deliver this service with almost no interruption. Should you suffer any kind of service outage, do not be alarmed. Amigo.Net and Qwest technicians are standing by to assist you!

Please follow the simple steps below to troubleshoot your DSL connection

Step 1: Unplug the power plug from the DSL modem for 30+ seconds. After the modem has been plugged back in wait 10-15 seconds then attempt to connect to the Internet. If this does not restore service proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Check your DSL modem for connectivity lights. You should have one solid light for DSL and a few blinking lights to correspond with your Internet and LAN connections. If you have no lights then you may have a bad modem. Please contact Qwest technical support for assistance. If all lights are on as explained above, and you are still unable to connect to the Internet then please continue to the next step.

Step 3: Restart your computer. Once your computer has completed its start up then attempt to connect to the Internet. If you are still unable to connect to the Internet then please contact Amigo.Net for technical support.
