We are currently experiencing heavy call volume due to our migration to Google Apps. Our objective today is to ensure that EVERY customer is able to access their email online, so please go to start.amigo.net and log in there. If you can't login to start.amigo.net, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

If you prefer to use an email client such as Outlook Express, please go to amigo.net/gmail for complete instructions. We will be available to help walk you through these instructions early next week. The most common mistakes are failing to enable POP access in your gmail account and failing to enter the correct port settings in your email client, so please double-check all settings as they appear on amigo.net/gmail.
When is it happening?
We are staggering our migration to make it easier on everyone. Please refer to the schedule below to see when your domain will move.

What do I need to do?
Webmail users will need to change very little. Simply go to mail.your_domain and log in with your email address and password. See the table below for the exact links.

If you use a POP3 client such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail, you will need to enable POP3 access in your Google Apps Settings. WARNING: If you don't enable POP3 access in your Google Apps account, you will not be able to retrieve your mail.
You may, also, need to change your server settings. Please see our POP Setup page or Google's POP Access page. You can make these changes ahead of time and you will automatically switch to Google when the domain is moved.
Is there an extra charge?
No. Our partnership with Google makes Google Apps available to you at no charge.
Where is my mail?!
Email stored on our servers will be moved to gmail on the migration date. This may take up to three days to complete. In the meantime, you will be able to access those messages by going to oldmail.amigo.net. Your password will be the same as before but with '42' appended to it. For example, if your password was 'monkeys' it is now 'monkeys42'. This change only affects logging into oldmail.amigo.net, not your log in through Google Apps.
Any folders that you may have created in amigo.net's webmail will be recreated in gmail as labels.
Where are my webmail contacts?
We did not import your contacts from amigo.net's webmail into gmail. You can export them from amigomail as CSV and import that into gmail.
To export your contacts from amigomail, log into oldmail.amigo.net and go to Addresses and click the "Export as CSV File" button.
Please see Google's help pages for instructions on importing the exported CSV file.
Why do I get SSL certificate warnings when I check my email?
To make migrating to gmail easier, amigo.net created aliases pop.amigo.net and smtp.amigo.net to Google's mail servers. Unfortunately, these names do not match the names used on Google's SSL certificates, hense the error. You have two options.
1) You can ignore it. Most mail clients allow you to select an option that says something like "Accept this certificate permanently." Sending and receiving mail will work just fine with this set.
2) You can change your mail servers settings to match the names on Google's certificate. Follow the instructions on our POP Setup page but use these settings instead.
